A new eMail Blast has been posted

We are now accepting applications for our upcoming Blizzard Season. Behind the scenes our website is being updated (the calendar now has our trip dates,) and we have our Epic Pass link from Vail for those of you who would like to buy a discounted Epic Pass. Here's the link:  Purchase an Epic Pass  Please do NOT purchase a 4 to 7 day pass, we cannot accept them during the season as they are too hard to track. If you need help with any part of the club and how it works, take advantage of our information rich website which details every aspect of our club ad nauseum.

The annual membership fee has  changed from last year, it is $140 for the first child. If you are renting from Viking, and I heartily recommend a seasonal rental over individual trip rentals, their $40 discount for Blizzard members expires on November 4th. The weekly trip fee remains constant at $85 (which includes the lift ticket, lesson, and bus trip. New members must be 8 years old by 3/31/2020.

Additional information on the location of new or additional bus stops is pending. The Lincoln Park stop, River Forest, Oak Brook, Palatine, Park Ridge, Skokie and Wilmette stops will remain the same. See the website for the complete list of stops and times. We expect to be able to continue to use the Lake Zurich stop until they start construction on the Kmart property. All other stops are in the air at the moment until we see where our members reside. I want to make the north shore stops more accessible if we can, and add two more northwest stops. Suggestions are appreciated (so are new members in the new locations.)

Last but not least, Supervisors. We need them. From all locations. I’d prefer those of you who can commit to at least 4 trips per season. There are only 3 or 4 people that have committed to every single trip and they are gold to me. I’d gladly welcome more. I will start webinar overviews of the club for those of you who need to hear more and want to ask questions in a group forum. The first one will be the first week of October.

I sent out a detailed letter earlier this week. You can read it by accessing the last link under the "More Info" tab on the homepage.  Please sign up for the mailing list using the pop-up window on the website or by completing an initial application. If you have questions, please check under the "More Info" tab on the website first before contacting me. I answer most questions in those sections.

If you need clothing or gear labels, we created a Blizzard fundraiser at:  campaigns.mabelslabels.com  This Canadian company has the best labels on the planet.

Pray for Snow!
