Our first trip is scheduled for next Saturday, December 9th. WE ARE GOING unless Wilmot does not open on time. If you sign up and Wilmot remains closed, I will refund the money over the weekend.
The weather is cooperating, so I suspect we will go. And it will be cold.
What do you need to do to be able to go
1. All your kids' belongings need to be marked - including skis, boards, boots, poles, and helmets. Gloves are the most often lost item. Gaiters are second most. They are both hard to mark, but you can be creative...
2. Your child must have their Blizzard membership tag to get on the bus. WE HAVE THEM and will bring them to the bus pickup locations. (Last year more were lost in the mail than received.)
3. If your child has an EPIC pass, they must have it with them. I cannot issue a lift ticket to a child expected to have an Epic pass who does not (unless they are picking it up at Wilmot.)
4. Lincoln Park and River Forest pickup starting points both have a 7 AM departures until further notice.
5. Other bus stop times and locations will follow. The only other stops currently, are: Edens Plaza, Skokie and Northbrook on Route 1. Hyde Park may be added in January. Oak Brook, Schaumburg, Barrington and Lake Zurich on Route 2.
6. If you are renting from Wilmot, you must fill out a rental form and send it back to me so I can send it to Wilmot. Pay for your rental at the same time you pay your weekly trip fee.
7. You can sign up for this week's trip starting Monday at 7 AM until Thursday at 5 PM or whenever we run out of seats on the buses.
