What is an Epic Pass and Should I buy one?

If you are wondering whether you should purchase an Epic Pass, or even what an Epic Pass is, read on. If you have already purchased a pass, please read on to help us better integrate the Epic Pass program for Blizzard.

Purchase Epic Pass

The Epic Pass is designed for those skiers and boarders who want to take advantage of pre-paying for lift tickets at a discounted rate for any of the Vail holdings. Since Wilmot is now included in the family, we acknowledge the purchase of the Epic Pass and Epic Local Pass in our weekly fee and automatically take the appropriate discount off your trip. We cannot, however, accept the 4 and 7 day pass as that is a manual process to monitor.

The math for the payback goes like this: If you plan to spend 4 days at another Vail property and 4 days with Blizzard at Wilmot, the Epic Local Pass pays for itself.

I highly recommend the pass if you expect to get out west with the family this winter. Purchase your passes for the entire family through our link. Since the price is consistent from any vendor, you are doing Blizzard a favor if you buy through us.

Simply click on the "Purchase Epic Pass" button and you will be forwarded to the Epic Pass site using our unique url. Why buy an Epic Pass through Blizzard? Because Blizzard benefits from your purchase! But you have to hurry. The price goes up on October 7th, 2018 for this season, and then ends as of November 18th.

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED A PASS and did not do it through Viking or another vendor (other than Vail) and you are new to the pass this year, PLEASE let me know as we can count your pass in our tally, INCLUDING any adult passes you may have purchased. I just need the pass number and for whom it was purchased.

When you register this year, you will see a place to put in your Epic Pass number. It will automatically deduct the pass discount in your shopping cart for each weekly trip on PayPal. We made it as easy as we could!
